Because I saw him wearing a leather jacket

or maybe his ear, dusty with sand when, tracing the swirls like a conch shell, the sound of an ocean is lost to me. leather dusky with tiny stars of sweat;

Getting older.

Yesterday was my 19th birthday. O_o
It's unfortunate that my mood plummets just when I'm supposed to be the life of the party.
I'm a little high because I was so low that I couldn't crawl out of even the smallest hole. Now..maybe I'm not flying, but I'm at least hovering a little above the ground...a little above the things that I can't bear..
